BIRTH NAME: NATHANIEL KOLAWOLE ONADIPE
Kola Onadipe (July 14th 1922-Dec 4th 1988) was born on July 14th 1922 in Ijebu-Ode Ogun state in Nigeria. He was born into a polygamous family and was the second son of his mother. He studied Law at the University of London in 1949 and later opened a law firm with his best friend Late Senator Abraham Adesanya. He dedicated most of his life time to education and writing books especially for the children.

He is survived by his fifteen children, seven boys and eight girls; to whom he dedicated his life and ensured they excelled in achieving acceptable academic standard. He died at the age of sixty-seven after he suffered a stroke on Dec 4th 1988. He is buried at his residential home in Ogbogbo, Ijebu- Ode, Nigeria. He was a blessing to his family and his society at large. And his literary legacy lives on.
